Just what I was looking for.I like the sturdiness of this paper towel holder and its attractive marble base.Easy on the eyesEasy to assemble, very heavy and sturdy. No issues with paper towels when I pull!I love everything about this PT holder. It's simple with no extra stuff. The marble is solid and heavy and looks so clean. It's simple and sleek. Looked everywhere for one like this!!!I don't know why softness is a rated feature because this is constructed of hard materials like metal. The holder is substantial and weighted making it very stable. My only complaint is that the base is quite large. I wish it were smaller as a lot of it shows even with a new paper towel roll. However, that may be the reason it won't tip over easily.Not much to say about this one - as the title says it holds paper towels and it does it quite well. The base is very heavy so it won't move when pulling sheets off. It's easy to assemble and comes with the mini screwdriver needed to put it together (so no additional tools needed). And it looks pretty decent. It's a simple product but it does what it's supposed to.I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional quality, parts, sturdiness, functionality and beauty! Excellent item!I got this to use as a Kitchen Roll holder, it is actually too long for this purpose (hence the 4 stars), but works well in our kitchen.The pole is made of chrome, not plastic as I have seen others say in their reviews. The chrome matches the sockets in our kitchen so it fits in well. The base is very sturdy - in fact when this was delivered I started to wonder what was in the box as it seemed a lot heavier than I was expected - there is virtually no chance of this being pulled over when in normal use.If this was shorter in length it would be perfect for a kitchen roll holder - and judging by the other reviews there needs to be a longer version for use as a toilet roll holder - maybe this is a case of trying too hard to fit both purposes and not quite meeting either.Overall I'm happy with this product.I am so pleased I chose this particle holder as it is top notch! I perhaps didn't order it for the purpose intended and now it has a dual function...initially I wanted a means to transfer cotton from an overlocker cone to a cotton reel, winding it on using a household electric drill for speed (empty cotton reel wedged onto a drill bit). I found I had nothing heavy enough or suitable in shape to hold the cone in place. Now I wonder how I ever managed without having a kitchen roll holder! Normally needing a sheet after I have placed something in the other hand and subsequently having to chase the roll around before tucking it under the chin to gain enough purchase to tear a sheet off. No more chasing with this heavy bottomed roll holder. It stays still whilst tugging with one hand and sits unobtrusively on the kitchen worktop. I would recommend having this product to everyone.I've just had a new kitchen installed with lovely white marbled worktops - I love the new look and want to stop things interrupting the long run of clear work surface so the colour of this really appealed as it blends in beautifully. It is made from some kind of resin but looks good. The base is of a decent weight & is wider than usual - not quite one handed use but it doesn't tip up easily the way some do. I use normal sized rolls of kitchen towel - the base will easily accommodate jumbo rolls and taller rolls (there is about 3" between the top of the roll and the tip of the handle) won't be a problem either.Very disappointed with this towel holder,I ordered it to go with my new kitchen it was as I thought just the right colour but on opening it I found the grey marble effect is nothing like the photo but more like one small dirty mark on one side the rest of it if fine,easy to assemble and just what I wanted hence the three stars I have kept it because I have neither the time or patience to return it but will think twice before ordering from this company again.I like this kitchen roll holder. It is large enough to hold a large kitchen roll and remains stable. It looks great with our new quartz worktop. Would recommend.
