I actually bought this to see if it can cut leather and it couldn't. You have to bend the cutting arm outwards to lock. If you use it a lot, it doesn't look like it will last very long.Able to cut several sheets of 110# heavy card stock for book making. Nice sharp cut. Magnetized. No assembly required, just add handle on end (look and read instruction first and you will have no problem). Nice “how to use videos” on line. Sturdy product. Disappointed that the lowest measurement is 1/4”. But I would still recommend.This thing rips - doesn't cut - if you try more than 5 sheets....idk if I got a dull blade or what.My daughter used it to cut a couple of hundred papers for her school project. Was very easy to use. Cut straight. All clean cuts. She also used it to trim bunch of photo papers and invitation cards. She was able to make the precise and accurate cuts. It is light weight and smaller than the full-size cuter. It’s perfect for home use.This paper cutter cuts paper with no problems and once the handle was modified it was very easy to use. The issue is if you tap the handle on so it's tight as the minimal instructions state, it goes too far forward and you can't cut with it as it interferes with the cutting blade. If you don't tap it on, it's loose and comes off in your hand. The clamping bar that comes down is nice to keep your paper from moving, but if you're cutting a thin strip you are unable to keep it on the board straight until the clamping bar comes down, there is nowhere to put your fingers. All in all it works well and is nice and sturdy, you just need to do some modifying to get it to work that way.La guillotina es imprecisa en los cortes, con mucho trabajo corta dos hojas de papel bond a la vez, si se intenta cortar 4 o 5 hojas........un desastre porque a la imprecisión se agrega que las hojas salen todas mordidas y en pedazos, ya la devolví.Le falta precisión pero por el precio está bien, sin duda mucho mejor que cortar tarjetas a manoLlego en la fecha establecida pero al abrirlo estaba como oxidado o raspado de la parte lateral de la cuchilla de ahi en fuera todo perfecto ?It was broken
